# Glossary

> Shared vocabulary for Harmonia's agents, workflow, authority, evidence, and operations.

| Term                  | Meaning                                                                                          |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Action                | A proposed unit of work attached to a job; it is not authority to execute.                       |
| Agentic               | Produced through model reasoning and therefore not deterministic.                                |
| Approval digest       | SHA-256 identity binding a decision to the exact payload shown to an operator.                   |
| Effect                | A change outside pure reasoning, such as publishing, exporting, rendering, or calendar mutation. |
| Effect claim          | A leased, idempotent right for one worker attempt to execute a command.                          |
| Evidence reference    | An identifier that points to supplied source, performance, memory, or operator context.          |
| DynamoDB truth        | The durable workflow record used to decide what may happen next.                                 |
| AgentCore Memory fact | Eligible cross-job context with provenance; never approval or authorization.                     |
| Operation ID          | Identifier for one logical operation across retries and telemetry.                               |
| Receipt               | Immutable record of what an executor reports it did.                                             |
| Replay                | Re-execution or reconstruction that must preserve idempotency and provenance.                    |
| Strategy approval     | Human decision bound to Ryan's exact strategy digest; separate from effect approval.             |
| Trace ID              | Correlation identifier spanning application, worker, and telemetry events.                       |
| Verification          | Independent read-back of the externally observable result linked to its receipt.                 |
